Breach Zones

Breach Zones is a free mini-zine linking similar content between Cody Barr’s Zones and Jason Richards’ Breachworld(BW). Both BW and Zones are needed to figure out how to use this supplement. I'm a fan of both, the idea is to have a little Rosetta stone for BW acting as the main ruleset for its versatility & sleekness; while dressing it with Zones’ aesthetic, setting and GM tools. 

While both games share some compatibility by virtue of being genre-adjacent and rules-lite, they aren’t identical, there are some 1:1 matches but also many inconsistencies too. In that regard, this zine is just a quick hack, a kludge and somehow a futile exercise encompassing two main topics: 1:Equipment. 2:NPC / Enemy stats.

Very few extra references were also taken from Mini Six: Bare Bones Edition(MS). But for the sake of consistency (and when stats aren’t a problem) use Zones’ content as intended, even ignoring this zine’s recommendations. (Or not!)
